About the event

Addressing the complexity of robots in public requires a dialogue between different stakeholders, including perspectives from academia, industry, and governance. The workshop brings together stakeholders to get a better insight into key questions that emerge for the future of public robots. URF's Managing Director, Lee St James will offer a keynote presentation on the "Standardization of Public-area Mobile Robots". The event includes five 'flash talks' summarizing recent empirical studies, a keynote presentation from Starship Technologies' Lisa Johnson (Operating Public Robots) and a keynote regarding a long-term demonstration project from Anna Anund, Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI). For more information, please contact Dr. Stuart Reeves or Dr. Hannah Pelikan.
